What is Period Action Day?
Period Action Day is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges faced by millions of individuals due to period poverty. Did you know that one in five girls in the U.S. miss school because they don’t have access to essential period products? At the You First Community Foundation, our mission is to provide information, education, and access to eradicate period poverty. This year, we’re stepping up our efforts, and we need your help to make a real impact!
How Can You Get Involved?
- Volunteer: We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help with product distribution, educational workshops, and event logistics. Whether you have a few hours or the entire day, your contribution will make a difference.
- Become a Vendor: Do you have products or services that align with our mission? Join us as a vendor! There is a $100 vendor fee to secure your spot, so don’t miss this opportunity to engage with our community.
